Fishing found us again.
We both grew up fishing with our dads as kids, and over time it fell through the cracks of life — the way a lot of good things do. But once we found each other, it helped re-spark our love for it as a family dynamic. The quiet mornings, the stupid jokes, the one that always gets away — all of it came back, and this time we got to share it.
Why the 88.
We're looking to grow its importance to us beyond our pond. Along the journey, we kept encountering the number 88 in our daily lives — on receipts, mile markers, random moments. We started seeing it as a status of our growth and our upcoming learning potential, and occasionally as a hurdle we had yet to tackle. It stuck. It became ours.

We wanted to create a brand that comes together to represent our personalities and our interests as husband and wife — and our different yet shared backgrounds. We hope it shows through our designs and humor. Every shirt and mug is a little piece of how we see the world: lake water included, taken-too-seriously not required.
